Kerala vlogger couple were found dead at their home under mysterious circumstances.
A vlogger couple from Kerala’s Thiruvananthapuram were found dead at their home under mysterious circumstances. The deceased, identified as Selvaraj (45) and Priya (37), were discovered by their son who returned from Ernakulam.
While Selvaraj was found hanging in the bedroom, Priya was lying lifeless on the bed. Initial investigations revealed of a possible suicide, but postmortem report raised questions about a possible homicide. Notably, strangulation marks were found on Priya’s neck.
A police official said, “We cannot confirm, right now, whether the woman was murdered. Doctors found strangulation marks on her body during the postmortem.” He added that the exact cause of death could be confirmed only after a chemical examination.
When the police reached the spot the woman’s body showed signs of decay, indicating that Priya likely died hours before her husband. The official said, “The man is suspected to have died several hours after his wife’s death, based on the conditions of the bodies when discovered.”
Selvaraj worked as mason, while Priya was involved in community activities. The couple ran a Youtube channel called ‘Sellu Family’, which had around 18,000 followers. Their content mainly included family vlogs and lifestyle-related videos. Their last video was up on Youtube on October 25, just hours before their death.
